Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Vidso collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Vidso website at vidso.ai and app.vidso.ai and to the Vidso app for iOS. Vidso is operated by Sels AI Inc. ("Vidso", "we", "us").

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you create an account we receive your email address and name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information those services share. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only ever see Apple's private relay address.
• Content you provide. The prompts you write, the photos, images, audio, and video you upload, and the media Vidso generates from them.
• Purchase information. If you subscribe or buy credits on the web, payment is processed by Stripe. If you purchase in the iOS app, the transaction is processed by Apple and validated through RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status, but we never receive or store your full card number.
• Usage and device data. Basic logs of feature usage and credit consumption, plus standard technical data such as device type, app version, and identifiers needed to operate the service. On mobile, if you enable notifications we store a push token so we can tell you when a generation finishes.
• Cookies and similar technologies. On the web we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the product. We do not use them to track you across other websites.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• operate Vidso and generate the media you request;
• process payments and apply the correct credits to your account;
• provide support and respond to your messages;
• keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
• improve reliability and quality; and
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the private content you generate to train foundation models of our own.

AI processing

Generating media is the core of Vidso. To create what you ask for, the prompts you write and the media you upload are sent to our AI model partners for processing. These partners generate or transform the content and return the result, which we host in your library. Your inputs are shared only as needed to produce your output, and each partner is bound by its own privacy and security commitments. AI outputs can contain artifacts or inaccuracies and depend in part on the inputs you provide.

Service providers and sub-processors

We rely on trusted third parties to deliver Vidso. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function:

• AI model partners (including OpenAI, fal.ai, ElevenLabs, and additional AI partners) to generate and transform media;
• Compute (Modal) for media processing and assembly;
• Infrastructure (Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Cloudflare R2 for media storage);
• Authentication (our auth provider, plus Apple and Google when you use those sign-in options);
• Payments (Stripe on the web; Apple and RevenueCat for iOS purchases);
• Notifications (Expo and the Apple Push Notification service to deliver push notifications).

Push notifications

If you allow notifications in the iOS app, we send you a push when a generation completes or fails. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device Settings, and we deactivate tokens that are no longer valid.

Data retention

Media you generate stays in your account until you delete it or close your account. We keep transactional and billing records for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.

Your rights and choices

• Delete content. You can delete individual generations from your library at any time.
• Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and its data directly in the app (Settings, then Delete account) or on the web. Deleting your account removes your account record and associated media, and we remove the underlying files from storage. Some records may be retained where the law requires.
• Access and correction. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or export your personal information. Email us to make a request.
• Marketing. We do not send marketing email without your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Children

Vidso is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

Vidso is operated from the United States, and your information is processed there and in other countries where our service providers operate. By using Vidso you understand your information may be transferred outside your country of residence.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email and update the date above.
